About Arcade Recall

Arcade Recall is a free collection of memory games with a serious mission: to make vocabulary stick. We combine the two things that research says actually build durable word knowledge — active recall and spaced repetition — with the one thing that makes people come back: an arcade. Neon, pixels, combos, high scores and 8-bit chimes are not decoration; they are the reward loop that keeps you reviewing long after a flashcard app feels like homework.

What you get

• Five games, one brain: Memory Match, Speed Recall, Falling Words, Whack-a-Word and Flash Recall all train recall from a different angle — visual pairing, spelling-from-memory, typing, listening and speed.
• Your own mistake deck: every word you miss is saved automatically to a personal review deck that schedules re-tests on a simplified SM-2 spaced-repetition curve (1 day → 2.5× gaps; wrong answers reset to tomorrow).
• Real word lists: topic × CEFR sets (Travel A2, School Life B1, and more added regularly), each one playable in every game.
• Classroom-ready: printable worksheets, no sign-up, no tracking walls, works on phones and school laptops.

Our rules

Free to play, forever, for the core games. No accounts required. Your scores and deck live in your own browser. Ads, when they arrive, will never cover gameplay or trick you into tapping. Paid extras (premium topic packs, custom lists) are a future possibility; the arcade floor stays free.
