Paste a word list to import — one per line: word = definition (tabs, | and , also work; our own exports re-import as-is).
Anki: File → Import, pick the .txt file. Anki reads the header lines it finds (tab separator, ArcadeRecall deck, #tags column:3), so your topic becomes a tag. Map Word → Front and Definition → Back in the import dialog, leave “Allow HTML in fields” off, and the cards drop straight into your deck. CSV is for spreadsheets — Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers.
How the deck schedules reviews
The deck uses a simplified version of the SM-2 spaced repetition algorithm, the same idea behind Anki and SuperMemo. When a word is first missed, it arrives in the deck ready for review. Answer it correctly and the gap until the next review grows — roughly 1 day → 3 days → a week → two and a half weeks, because a word you remembered today is likely to stay for a while. Forget it and the interval snaps back to 1 day, so the word is retested tomorrow at the exact moment your memory of it is weakest.
This is the science of the “forgetting curve”: reviews timed at growing intervals beat massed re-reading, and they beat cramming, for long-term retention. Your deck lives only in this browser's local storage — nothing is uploaded, nothing tracked. Clear your browser data and the deck resets.
